Library Closure

HNPL Cicero & Atlanta will be closed on Saturday, July 2 and Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, July 5.

Teen Jewelry Camp

Deanna Leonard leads a four day jewelry camp Monday, June 27 - Thursday, June 30. The camp meets from 11 am - 1 pm. All materials are provided. Each session is $10. This camp is for ages 10 and up.

Summer Reading Program Goes Live

As of Monday, June 20, our Summer Reading Program is live! Registration and logging are online at www.hnpl.lib.in.us.

To complete the program, teens must read 500 pages throughout the program, which ends on Friday, July 29.

There has been some confusion about logging. Books read prior to June 20 are ineligible for the Summer Reading Program.

Wii Wednesday!

Join us from 4-5.30 this Wednesday, June 22 for free play! Choose from our in-house selection (including Just Dance 1 & 2), or bring your own games.

Summer Reading Kick-off with Snakehead Ed

Join us at 4.30 pm on Monday, June 20th for an up-close program with Snakehead Ed. He'll bring his Serpent Safari for an hour of fun.
This is a free program!

Teen Advisory Board

The Teen Advisory Board will meet tonight at 5.30 pm in the Indiana Room. We need your input to make the TeenZone a place teens want to hang out. Drop by and let us know what kind of programming you'd like, and what books you'd like to read.

Summer Reading Program is Coming

Starting Monday, June 13, registration will be available for our 2011 Summer Reading Program. This year, registration and logging will all be online.

Summer Reading begins on Monday, June 20 and runs through Friday, July 29.

Hunger Games!

On Monday, our Teen Reading Group returns with a discussion of The Hunger Games. We'll meet at 4.30 in the Indiana Room.
