Teen Poetry Contest

April is National Poetry Month, and it’s time for our 3rd Annual Teen Poetry Contest!

HHMS and HHHS students can submit up to 3 original poems. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 students in the following categories: free verse, limerick, haiku.

Students can either drop off poems at the front desk of the Cicero branch, or email them to ecrickmore@hnpl.lib.in.us.

We’ll be having a Teen Poetry Night on Wednesday, May 9 at 5.30 pm. All participants are invited to read their poems. Refreshments will be provided.

Redwall Book Review

Redwall is a great book that is about woodland creatures who live near this abbey called Redwall. The main character is Matthias. He lives in Redwall and is very clumsy. He does some amazing stuff, but then they are attacked by Cluny the Scourge. Cluny is the most evil rat there is. He has hundreds of rats at his disposal. He is ruthless to everyone. Matthias has to face Cluny the Scourge.
