Art Classes with Deanna Leonard
Are you looking for something to do on Wednesday afternoons? Deanna Leonard will be offering art classes at HNPL at 3 pm on early release Wednesdays, and 4 pm on others.
Each session, students will learn and use different techniques and media to create works of art. Please pre-register at least one week prior to class to ensure there are enough supplies.
Classes are $10/day.

The Great Scavenger Hunt Contest
Are you a voracious reader? Want to win a gift card to your favorite bookstore? Would you like to help HNPL win free books? If you answered yes to any of those questions, check out The Great Scavenger Hunt Contest, sponsored by author Kay Cassidy.
How do you participate?
1) Go to the YA section of HNPL, or go to www.kaycassidy.com/hunt to see the participating books on display.
2) Choose a book that you like, and READ it.
3) Print the trivia challenge from the website, or see the circulation desk for a copy.
4) Answer the questions.
If you get more than 80% correct, you'll be entered into a monthly drawing for a $50 gift card to a bookstore of your choice. If you win, HNPL also wins. We'll receive a bag of books that are included in the hunt.
